Baby Mermaid

Hello....
Have you seen the Imagine That Digistamp set that you can get for free (through Aug 4th) by entering the Imagine That! Creative Playground Challenge?
It's called Baby Mermaid, it's so adorable... I LOVE it!

Here's the card design I created with the Baby Mermaid set:

I printed the image/sentiment on Xpress-it paper, colored it with Copic Markers & then fussy cut it.
For the background, first I used Tim Holtz Oxide inks and then I used a star stencil with silver glitter paste to add the stars. Lastly, I popped up the top of the clam shell and the baby mermaids tail with pop dots and added the sentiment.

Here are the Imagine That Digistamp sets I used:

Pretty Peacocks & Pretty Petunias 7/20

Hello... Hello... Happy Thursday!!!
I have a couple of designs to share with you today :)

First...

Pretty Peacock Sympathy
I printed these images on Xpress-it paper and colored them with Copic Markers.  I selected a green card base and added a strip of gold glitter paper to the bottom.  Then I added the colored image and a bling flower to finish it up :)

I used these Imagine That Digistamp sets:

 Pretty Peacocks                         Thoughts & Prayers

and Second...

Pretty Petunias Sympathy
I printed the images on Xpress-it paper and colored them with Copic Markers.  I'm loving how the hummingbird blended colors came out.  Next I chose a green card base and added gold embossed paper, matted the image with a dark blue and then assembled it all together.

Autism Awareness Kids

Hello Everyone!
Today I'd like to share with you an awesome Autism Awareness digistamp set from Imagine That Digistamp.  I really wanted to make this one extra special, I sure hope you like it :)

I started off by printing the images and the background papers on Xpress-it paper and coloring the images with Copic markers.  Once they were all colored up, I fussy cut the images.
I chose a navy blue card stock for the base of this accordion style card... I cut 3 base panels in navy blue, one panel frame in light blue and one inside panel on a plaid patterned paper.

Here are the Sizzix dies by Karen Burniston used to create the accordion card:
Accordion Flip 3D                          Frame & Label Bracket

Here is the Imagine That Digistamp set I used:

Below are the details & a close up of each designed panel:

First Panel:
Used the blue patterned paper from the set, added a doily heart and then the copic colored little boy. I then put "love" on the puzzle piece and added some little stars and a bit of doodling with a white Signo uni-ball pen.

  Middle Panel:
Used the light blue frame, the plaid patterned paper and the Autism & Acceptance pre-colored digi stamp and adhered them to the navy blue base.  To finish it up I added an embossed silver strip of paper to the top and the bottom of the panel.

Last Panel:
Used the white patterned paper from the set, added a doily heart and the copic colored little girl.  I added a little star and some doodling with a white Signo uni-ball pen.

Once all the panels were ready, I then attached them together to complete the project.

I absolutely love how this came out... let me know what you think :)

Pierrette

Hello you....
Today I'd like to share my Pierrette/Thoughts & Prayers sympathy card design with an Oxide Ink background:

Pierrette Sympathy
I started by printing the image/sentiment on Xpress-it paper and then coloring it up with Copic markers.  She was so much fun to color :)
To design the card, I chose a red card base and then created the background with Tim Holtz distress oxides and a netting stencil on watercolor paper (once I created the colored background, I wet the netting stencil and then placed it on top of the background to add the faint impressions of the stencil... pretty cool right?! loving these oxide inks)
Next I fussy cut the image/sentiment, placed them on top and then I added some bling for the finishing touches to complete my design.

Here are the Imagine That Digistamp sets I used:

        Pierette                             Thoughts & Prayers

Aurora Wings - May 2017 "My Favorite Color Combo"

Hello!
I just realized that I never shared my fabulous news here on my blog... better late than never :)
I recently WON the Artists Choice Award for the May 2017 "My Favorite Color Combo Challenge at Aurora Wings!

I was so excited!  I'd like to share with you the adorable little sprite "Pierrot Sprite"  that I used in my entry.
I printed this Aurora Wings sweetie on Xpress-it paper and colored him up with Copic markers. Because purple is my favorite color and turquoise goes so nicely with it, I chose these as my favorite color combo. I created the background with glitter paste and a stencil on watercolor paper.  I added the sentiment that I got from an Imagine That Digistamp set "Thoughts & Prayers".

Here are the stamp sets I used:

Pierrot Sprite                                  Thoughts & Prayers

If you'd like to get either of these digistamps, just click on the name above the digistamp set picture.
Feel free to let me know what you think... I'd love to hear your feedback :)

Hello!
I'd like to share my designs for the Imagine That! Creative Playground... It's Thursday Inspiration time and I designed the following 2 cards, I hope you like them :)

Snowman with Tree Hat
I started by printing this image/sentiment on Xpress-it paper and coloring it with Copic markers.  I chose a red card base and added a foil ornament designed paper.  Next I mounted the colored image on gold glitter paper and then added it to the background/card base.

Here is the Imagine That Digistamp set I used:

My 2nd card design:  Love & Strength
I chose the image, printed it on Xpress-it paper and then colored it with Copic markers.
I decided on a yellow card base and added some designed paper from the Lawn Fawn perfectly plaid Rainbow petite paper pack, I absolutely love all the papers from perfectly plaid: rainbow.  Next, I added a sentiment sticker.  I rounded the corners of the image before I added it and then a bling flower to finish it up.

Here is the Imagine That Digistamp set I used:

I had so much fun designing these cards... definitely was feeling the Christmas in July :)

I put the colored image on top of the background and added some bling and some little kitties to finish it up.

Here is the Imagine That Digistamp set I used:
