Graduation Cards

Hello!!!
Today I'd like to share some Graduation designs that are focused on the masculine side.  It's always more challenging for me to create masculine cards so I decided to design some for the guys with one of my Imagine That Digistamp sets... let's get started :)

Card 1: Tassel

Card 2: Another Tassel

Card 3: Go Confidently

Card 4: Achieve
I started by printing the sentiments on white card stock and cutting them out.  Next I chose card bases and patterned paper that would keep them in neutral colors since they are for the boys.  On cards 2 & 3, I used gold glitter paste and a stencil to create the background.  I only added a ver small amount of bling on two of the cards as I don't generally like to add bling to boy cards :)

Here is the Imagine That Digistamp set I used:

I hope you found some inspiration from these designs... feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from you!

Using Sentiment Sets

Hello...
Today I decided to play with sentiments.  Usually I use the sentiment sets from Imagine That Digistamp to finish my cards but today I thought I would use them as the focus of the cards.
Here they are...

Card 1: God Understands

Card 2: Heartfelt Sympathy

Card 3: Hugs & Prayers

Card 4: Thoughts & Prayers

Card 5: Another Thoughts & Prayers

Card 6: Our Thoughts & Prayers
First, I printed the sentiments on white card stock and then fussy cut them out.  I chose card bases to match the backgrounds I created with Lindy's Gang Magicals.  I used a die cut tree on the card 1 and then acetate butterflies with Glitter Film (glitter foil) from Stamp On It on the other 5 cards. To finish each card, I added a little bling because you know I love bling LOL :)

Here are the Imagine That Digistamp sets I used:

Thoughts & Prayers                           Sentimental Thoughts

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think... also, feel free to ask any questions as I'm happy to help.  If you'd like to get these sentiment sets from Imagine That Digistamp, just click on the name above the digistamp image and it will take you to the shop.

I started by printing the image and sentiment on Xpress-it paper and then coloring the image with Copic Markers.  I chose a black card base and a purple background created with Lindy's Gang Magicals.  Next, I matted the image twice... once with blue card stock and then with a dark green.  To finish it up, I added the sentiment and a bling flower.

Baseball Boy Birthday
I started by printing this colored image and sentiment on white card stock and then cut it out with my Brother Scan n Cut.  I chose a black card base and added a strip of patterned paper.  Lastly, I added the sentiment and the colored image.

Krazy Kreations Fun

Hello!
Have you heard of Krazy Kreations?  If not, you are in for a treat :)
They have glitter paper that you can add outline stickers to and color with your copic markers (or spectrum noir markers).  It's absolutely amazing and it doesn't damage the nibs on the markers.
Over the past couple weeks, I have been designing cards with the glitter paper and outline stickers and here they are:

Mermaids & Hot Air Balloons
I started by coloring the mermaids, shells, hot air balloon (in the bottom-middle) & white clouds.  The other hot air balloons & clouds were created with designed glitter paper.  I fussy cut all the images and designed these cards.  I used sticker sentiments also from Krazy Kreations.

Tulips, Cactus & Foxes
I started by coloring the tulips, potted cacti, & foxes.  I fussy cut all the images and designed these cards.  I used sticker sentiments also from Krazy Kreations.

Hearts, Fox & Butterflies
I started these by coloring the images with copic markers on glitter paper just like the others and then designed cards with them.  *The prayer cards were stamps embossed and then colored with Tim Holtz Oxide inks... I love making my own backgrounds & designs with the oxides.

Now that you've seen some of the cool things you can do with this glitter paper & copic markers, you should visit the Krazy Kreations shop HERE. They even have kits with instructions and everything you need to create 3-4 cards, they are awesome (note: you will need to have your own markers).

Love Bears & I Wheely Like you

Hello Everyone...
I thought I'd post a few cards I designed recently using my Imagine That Digistamp sets.  There are two cards so let's get started:

Card 1: Love you
I printed the colored image and fussy cut it out.  I chose a pink card base and then added a background made with glitter paste and a stencil. I added a black strip of card stock with alphabet letters YOU from Queen & Company. Lastly, I popped up the colored bear and added a few Queen & Company hearts to bling it up :)

Here is the Imagine That Digistamp set I used:

Card 2: I Wheely Like You
I started by printing the colored image/sentiment and fussy cutting it out.  I chose a blue card base and added a piece of black paper.  Next, I created a background... I used a stamp and embossed it with white embossing powder and then added the color with Tim Holtz oxide inks (when you emboss the embossed area will resist the oxides).  Lastly, I popped up the image on top.

Here is the Imagine That Digistamp set I used:
